It has been a great privilege to serve the community of the whole Tenbury Division for the last four years and progress has been made in key areas.

The condition of our roads has been improved and, in certain places, made safer.

The Teme Bridge in Tenbury has been refurbished and strengthened for the next 120 years.

Tenbury High School has a new eight-classroom block being built.

Positive Activities for Young People have been safeguarded with support secured for Tenbury’s Cafe 27, Tenbury Boxing Club and numerous sports clubs and societies across the division.

Tthrough my divisional fund, some 40 projects have been helped, ranging from Little Witley to Bockleton, and from skittles for the WI to new kayaks for the adventure club, from first aid courses in Eastham to support for a care farm in Bayton, from money for the Regal in Tenbury to a new notice board in Stockton.

Future projects will include securing the Teme Valley’s rural bus services, supporting Tenbury’s Public Realm and a flood barrier for Tenbury.

Through my chairmanship of a county-wide scrutiny panel, we have secured better gritting of roads and doubling the number of grit bins; broadband roll-out - with new contracts for Little Witley and North West Malvern; support for enhanced bus passes for pupils and young people; highlighting the needs of those who are not in employment, education or training; support for new contracts for our outdoor education centres, so vital for our schoolchildren; help for local suppliers and industries via procurement of contracts.

I hope you will help me to continue the job I have started and help the Conservatives to promote the economy and wellbeing of the whole county.
