ANYONE who has problems with their hearing or wants information about services available for people with hearing difficulties can go along to the second annual Worcester Hearing Show next month.

The free show is being staged on Friday October 30 at the Guildhall in Worcester High Street and is being hosted by Worcester Hearing Centre for the second year.

There will be a number of stands and organisations like The British Tinnitus Association and Hearing Dogs will be on hand to give help and advice.

There will also be a programme of talks which will cover topics like how the brain does the listening, how tinnitus can be managed, as well as an interactive presentation on the extended wear hearing aid call Lyric.

There will be information about modern mobile phone technology and how it works with new hearing aids that enable people to be in control of how they hear.

Anyone who ever wondered what the inside of the ear looks like will be able to find out when an audiologist will be using a video otoscope to explain the workings of the ear.

A spokesman for the Worcester Hearing Centre said: “If you suspect you have some hearing difficulties, if you wear or have worn hearing aids, if you have any questions about your hearing health or if you have a family member who is dealing with hearing loss and you want to understand more to be able to help them, then this show is a must-attend event.”

Those attending the show will have a chance to win a £250 Worcester Hearing Centre voucher as well as a £100 M&S voucher for those who pre-register for the day.

Those attending will take home a goody bag with useful hearing information and goodies, visit their website www.worcesterhearingcentre.co.uk for the days schedule and pre-registration details or call the freephone number on 01905 617803.
