THE last two walks of the season were achieved without too much mud and rain. A sunny October walk was around canal and riverside at Stourport and across Hartlebury Common. The November walk was around Wichenford, through cider apple orchards, along Rosses Lane, past Aldens Farm and back to the start at Prickley Green.
Malvern Link Townswomen's Guild

AT the November meeting of the guild the chairman reminded members that payment for the visit to the ice show at Cardiff was now due. Members were also urged to sign their names for the Christmas party on December 4. The chairman thanked Maureen for organising the catering.

ON Thursday, November 20, members of the Worcester group of Moose International visited the Worcestershire Association for the Blind which meets at the Bradbury Centre, 2 Sansome Walk, Worcester, to present a cheque for £649, which they had collected over two days in October at Tesco’s Supermarket St Peter’s Worcester.

OUR first meeting in November at Dines Green Centre welcomed new chairman Jane Flynn, who takes over from John Simpson, who has done a splendid job over the past three years. We all wish Jane all the best.
