A GRANT of £1,906 has been awarded to St Mark's in the Cherry Orchard from the Co-operative Community Fund.
The money will help pay for the refurbishment of the toilet and addition of new flooring in the hall entrance.
Work had to be temporarily halted due to a lack of funds.
However, it is now hoped that it can be completed before the Autumn term begins.
It is also hoped that eventually windows and doors can be replaced to cut bills and provide better ventilation.
