IT WILL be lights, camera, action for a brand new performing arts school which will be running at Lyppard Grange Community Centre from September.

Artistic director Michael Neri, who studied performing Arts at University of Worcester, will be launching Talking Props for young people aged three to 18.

The group meets during term time after school on Tuesdays.

Mr Neri has taught performing arts for over seven years in Worcestershire and has gone on to work professionally in musical theatre, television and presenting.

Children who have taken part in Talking Props classes have gone on to work towards performing arts qualifications and perform in shows.

Mr Neri said he planned to showcase the county's talent and will eventually launch a West Midlands-based theatre company to follow on from Talking Props to allow children who have trained with the group to audition professionally.
