THE plight of vulnerable and exploited people in Burma and Thailand will be highlighted at a coffee shop on Sunday.
Staff at Cafe Nero, in Broad Street, Worcester, will be raising awareness of Malvern-based charity Hands from 12pm to 4pm.
They will also be aiming to raise money for the organisation which works along the border with Burma and is committed to protecting those who are exploited and vulnerable to abuse, many of whom are fleeing oppression and suffering persecution.
In Thailand, a major focus of Hands' work is to prevent the trafficking of young children and, where possible, to rescue and rehabilitate those who have suffered at the hands of traffickers.
