A LOOK into the Swinging Sixties will be on offer at an event in Worcester this month.
This will include a 1960s fashion parade, and fleet of Lambretta and Vespa scooters, which will mark the show at fashion store Taking Shape.
The initiative, called ‘Going back to the 60s – where monochrome began’, is at the store in The Shambles on Saturday, September 27.
It will showcase Taking Shape's latest monochrome clothes designs and takes place a year after it opened.
Blair Stone, manager of the store, said: “As part of our anniversary celebrations in Worcester we’d like to encourage residents and visitors – size irrelevant – to our 1960s event.
"Everyone is welcome.”
The 1960s Lambretta and Vespa scooters will be parked up courtesy of The Worcester Three Pears.
Customers can have their photos taken on the scooters and in return make a small donation in aid of Acorns Hospice.
Refreshments and special discounts will also be available.
