AN EVENT showcased a variety of activities that can be enjoyed by people over 50 .
Staff from Age UK, Onside Advocacy and the Worcestershire Association of Carers were some of the groups who attended the event at the Guildhall today (Thursday, September 18).
Among the offerings was a light exercise class.
The Mayor of Worcester, Councillor Alan Amos, said: "Given that a recent report showed that an incredible one-third of older people in Worcester are lonely and isolated, it is clearly a matter that we must address urgently so I am pleased that I have made this issue the centre piece of my Mayoralty charity work for this year."
