WORKSHOPS aimed at helping people trace their family history are set to run in Worcester.
Worcestershire's Archive and Archaeology Service will host the events, which start at The Hive next month.
'Starting Family History' will take people through the basics of how to access and use resources available at the venue.
A pair of three-hour workshops take place on Thursday, October 9 and Saturday 11 from 10am to 1pm, costing £10 each.
Another set of workshops will introduce website ExploringAncestry.co.uk - which can be used free of charge at The Hive.
There are three two-hour classes on Wednesday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm, starting on Wednesday, October 8.
These cost £6 each.
Learning and outreach manager Paul Hudson said: "Family history is very popular, as we are all intrigued as to our own family's past.
"Knowing where to start can be confusing, so these workshops are a great way of finding out how to get started from our expert staff."
