AN EXHIBITION celebrating work by the Worcester Society of Artists has opened.
The society's 67th annual show started on Saturday (September 20) at the City Art Gallery and runs until Saturday, October 18.
Many of the paintings and ceramics by local artists are for sale.
The first purchase of this year's exhibition was made by Henry Sandon MBE, of Antiques Roadshow fame.

The gallery is open from 10.30am to 4.30pm from Monday to Saturday.
The society was founded in 1947, moving to the Swan Theatre in 1965 for regular meetings and exhibitions.
Currently, it meets at the Bromwich Road Mission in St John's and can be found there most Monday evenings, at 7.30pm.
