THERE will be a bewitching afternoon of fun for youngsters at St John's Library on Friday.

Worcestershire LitFest and Fringe will be holding its Hallowe'en event packed full of pumpkin carving, spooky stories and even a few creepy crawlies.

Families will be able to get up close with creatures from Animal Mania as well as watch magic tricks before their eyes with Andy's Magic at 2pm and 3.15pm.

Fancy dress competitions, a tombola and spooky stories from author Helen Cooper will keep little ones spellbound.

The event is aimed at children aged up to 12 year old and is free of charge however entrance to the magic shows is by ticket only.

Magic show tickets are free and available from St John’s Library for those joining the library service or borrowing two items from St John’s Library up until Thursday.

Places for the magic shows are limited and tickets will be allocated on a first come basis.

The event will run from 1pm to 4.30pm.
