THE whole family can discover the sounds of autumn on their doorstep at The Elgar Birthplace Museum until Sunday, November 2.

Autumn Music Makers features fun trails and activities including the scavenger hunt to discover all the sounds of autumn that can be found in the Lower Broadheath-based museum's gardens.

There is also the chance to create colourful nature pictures and ‘leaf pals’ using bits and pieces from the museum’s gardens.

Lily Dean, graduate trainee said: “Autumn Music Makers is a great opportunity for families to explore all the amazing sounds and colours of the season.

"We are so excited to welcome The Music Workshop Company for their wonderful activity day and cannot wait to see all the brilliant soundscapes they create with our visitors."

The Elgar Birthplace Museum is open from 11am to 5pm.
