A TALK about the First World War has been organised by Bromyard and District Local History Society.
Andy Taylor will give a speech about The Herefordshire Regiment during the First World War, on Wednesday, November 12 at 7.30pm in Bromyard's Conquest Theatre.
During the war, the Herefordshire Regiment was expanded to three battalions- the 1st Battalion fought at Gallipoli, in Egypt and Palestine and, for the last few months of the war, on the Western Front.
Entry to the talk is free for members and £3 for non-members.
