WRITE your wishes, hopes or regrets on dried leaves to be burned in the fire during solstice celebrations at Fort Royal Park.
There will also be a chance for people to decorate two large lantern puppets and create processional tassels before the two lantern puppets come together and dance towards the fire box.
Ian Craigan from Puppet Tree Community Art will then lead the ritual burning of messages and puppets.
The free event takes place from 3pm to 5pm and refreshments are provided by Friends of Fort Royal Park and Commandery Gardens
