Make a date to buy village's calendar (s)
THE Grand National winning horse and the one of the only pubs on consecrated ground have made it on to a village's calendar.
Claines has its very own 2015 calendar which include snaps of this year's national winner Pineau du Rei, which was trained at Linacres Stables in the village.
The calendar, which has been created by Steve Taylor, also includes pictures of Claines Church, The Mug House and surrounding areas.
They cost £6, with all proceeds going to church funds, and are available by calling 01905 457165 or from Gwillam’s Farm Shop, Bevere Gallery and Johnsons Newsagents, Ombersley Road.
