A CHARITY supporting bereaved children has received a £2,000 cash boost.
The cheque was presented by Keith Stokes-Smith, of Wickes Aid, to the Noah's Ark Trust at their new offices at the Canalside Complex at Lowesmoor Wharf, Worcester.
Susan Smith, fund-raising manager at the trust, collected the cheque last week.
She said the cash would go towards the cost of one of their residential weekends at Malvern Hills Outdoor Centre.
The charity runs three such weekends a year.
She said: "It will provide crucial help towards our grief support programme. It's a very valuable contribution."
Noah's Ark Trust was founded in 1998 to provide grief support to bereaved children and young people in Worcestershire. All its services are provided free of charge.
