THE next meeting of the Worcestershire Embroiderers Guild will be held on Tuesday, June 2 starting at 1.30pm. The talk, "It All Started in a Stately Home", will be given by Marilyn Pipe, beginning at 2pm. Marilyn is a "textile junkie" fascinated by the various from basic scrim to sumptuous silks and how they react to various dyes, including rust. She loves to use simple techniques that lead to surprising results!! A current passion is applying heat to fabrics which can be embroidered. The meeting is held at the Perdiswell Young People's Leisure Club, WR3 7SN. Visitors £4.
