THE Tesco store in St Peter's is keen to build links with the community and to support local groups with fundraising.
Staff from the supermarket in St Peter's Drive promoted this mission at a meeting of St Peter's Parish Council on Monday (September 28).
And councillor Brenda Wheeler endorsed the store's previous community efforts.
She said: "They were wonderful at St Peter's Festival - they were great and on behalf of the public I would like to thank them."
