DISTRICT chairman Chrissy Dance was the guest at the October meeting at the Raven Hotel. She gave a lively account of herself and her involvement with Inner Wheel.
Leaving Ireland in 1962 to come to Birmingham, she later took up a career in training and assessing, before becoming a service manager with Cable and Wireless. She was invited to Inner Wheel as an honorary member for four years before being elected full member at the Wylde Green Club.
President Lynda reminded members of the ploughman’s lunch at Rotary House on Thursday. The Christmas lunch is on Tuesday, December 15, at the Manor Arms at Abberley.
