RUTH Bond, the chairman of the National Federation of WIs, recently reminded all members that the WI isn’t just about cooking; it isn’t just about craft; it isn’t just about campaigning.

The WI is about these creative forces bringing together all women to make a difference.

The culture and reputation and what the WI does has to reflect what women today want.

It is strongly felt within the WI that the boldness of the new logo will signal to all women that the WI has a unique and recognisable visual identity for the 21st century and it is a modern, forward looking organisation.
