OUR new president Kay Newman welcomed members to her second meeting of the year, thanking the tea team and Daphne for the pretty spring-like flower arrangement.
As it was a members’ day we had a bring and buy stall as well as the competition for the most unusual eggcup, both being well supported.
Our lunch club date and the book club date were confirmed, and a theatre visit proposed.
After the business part we had fun and laughter playing a progressive beetle drive, followed by our tea.
The opportunity to chat with more members was welcomed, so it will be repeated in the future.
We did have a very good meeting in January with a talk on Detox Your Home by Janet Clemas – complete with fizzing and bubbling experiments.
