WORCESTER Conservative November Luncheon Club was as usual held at the Fownes Hotel.

The day’s speaker, Nicholas Clark, was welcomed for the fourth time and delighted us with his programme of wonderful pictures and amusing commentary on the topic of Springtime in Texas.

It was with sadness that we announced the death of Michael Exon, husband of our secretary Rosemary. A minute’s silence was held prior to the excellent luncheon.

The chairman reminded members that the annual Christmas bazaar would be held at the Guildhall on Saturday, November 26, and members offered their help and cakes for sale there. The next meeting will be held on Friday, December 2. It is always an especially festive occasion and this year, our speaker will be Mid- Worcestershire MP Peter Luff.
