THE guest speaker at the April meeting was Peter Riley. He came with his wealth of knowledge of the parks and gardens of the National Trust.
Peter described what gardens were like back in Roman times and explained the changes through time and how this has affected the way gardens are today.
Our May meeting will be our resolutions meeting, followed by a quiz. WI meets at Clifton upon Teme Village Hall at 7.30pm, and the talk starts at approximately 8pm. New members and visitors most welcome.
