AN Evesham woman who put on a charity pole fitness competition has said the event was a great success.
Lucy-Kate Dashfield-Ormrod runs Pole Pixies in Badsey and organised the Pole Pin Up 2012 competition. Fifteen competitors took part and were judged by three experts. Winners were chosen from intermediate and advanced categories with Juliet Biddle of Evesham winning the intermediate level. Ms Dashfield- Ormrod, of St Catherine’s Road, performed during the event alongside four other pole fitness performers.
She said: “I am amazed at the success and support the competition had and we will be happily hosting a Pole Pin Up 2013. This time with more categories and a theme.”
The event raised £172.53 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Research. For more information on pole fitness classes visit polepixies.com
