Staff at the Worcestershire Hub Customer Service Centre in Farrier Street are busy preparing for their grand move to The Hive.

The Worcestershire Hub Customer Service Centre, which is the first point of call for council services, will be open for business in its new home at The Hive on Monday 2nd July 2012 at 9:00am.

The Hive, which is a partnership between Worcestershire County Council and Worcester University, is a fully integrated public and university library, which is the first in the UK and will also house the Worcestershire Hub in this new iconic building.

In order to prepare for the move to The Hive, the Worcester City Customer Service Centre's last full day of service will be Thursday 28th June with a limited service available on Friday 29th June. The centre will be closed on Saturday 30th June.

Rachel Hill, Head of Customer Service for the Worcestershire Hub, said: "Where we can we are minimising any disruption to services for our customers. Whilst the Friday will only be a limited service, customers can access services online or by phone.

"To find information, report any problems or apply for any services, customers can visit www.whub.org.uk any time of the day or night. Customers can also call 01905 722233, Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm or Saturdays 9am to 5pm.

"We are very excited to be part of this new iconic building and I am sure our customers will benefit from the move to The Hive."

The Worcestershire Hub is a partnership between Worcestershire County Council and the six district councils in Worcestershire. The Worcester City Customer Service Centre provides customers with access to County Council, Worcester City Council services and beyond.
