A SHOWROOM has been opened for the new Horton Mill Court assisted living complex for over 70s in Droitwich.

Members of the public are invited to book themselves in for a tour of one of the units on the Hanbury Road, and find out about how they are equipped in terms of being wheelchair-friendly, and fitted with handrails and illuminated light switches.

Horton Mill Court will have an on-site restaurant, guest suite, laundry room and a lift, as well as a dedicated estate manager and staff on site 24 hours a day and personal alarms for the residents in case they find themselves in distress.

Gil Sabin, regional sales and marketing director for McCarthy & Stone, said: “We are really excited to welcome people to make an appointment at this much awaited development. Our stunning show complex showcases perfectly the specially designed features that come as standard in all our developments. It is a must-see for anyone over the age of 70 who has ever thought about downsizing so that they can make the most of their retirement years.

“We have received an overwhelming amount of interest in Horton Mill Court, so I would encourage anyone who is thinking about moving to a manageable and secure apartment to make an appointment soon to avoid disappointment.”
