DRIVERS in Droitwich, planning to use the Covercroft car park, might have to find an alternative over the next month, as sections of the car park are being closed for essential maintenance work.
Resurfacing work is starting at the car park from Monday, October 13, and will be continuing until the end of November.
In a bid to minimise the disruption caused by the work, Wychavon District Council is dividing the work into three phases, so that the majority of the car park can stay open.
Parking for taxis is being moved over to the left-hand side of the entrance to Morrisons supermarket, while their designated stopping area is unavailable.
