RESIDENTS and businesses in Droitwich are being reminded that they only have a few more days to have their say over plans for improvements to the town centre.

Residents have until Thursday, October 30to let Worcestershire County Council know where they think priorities should be concentrated as part of a planned transport infrastructure project, including work on resurfacing the High Street, and plans to give the town centre a makeover, with new street lighting and street furniture.

People also have the option of supporting a redesign of the junctions at either end of high Street as well as St Andrew’s Road, and improving the cycle route through the town.

Councillor John Smith OBE, county council cabinet member for highways, said: "We really appreciate the views we have had so far from residents and we would encourage more people to follow suit and make their comments known to us. This is a fantastic opportunity for all residents in Droitwich to shape final plans which will be developed further next year."
