A 24-YEAR-old man is to stand trial after he denied a racially aggravated assault on a Turkish man at a kebab shop in a Worcestershire town.
Thomas Lane, of Berkeley Gardens, Fernhill Heath, denies assaulting Shazad Jan Baber at King Kebab in Ombersley Street East, Droitwich, on August 19 last year.
He also denies racially aggravated harassment of Abdul Yurekli and Eray Nazim Chaush because he believed them to be Turkish.
A two-day trial is set to take place at Worcester Crown Court at the end of April.
