THE Droitwich Spa branch of Morrisons supermarket is introducing new contactless payment technology in a bid to make shopping faster and easier.
The St Andrew’s Centre store is installing the equipment at each cashier and self-service point for payments up to £20.
Sean Doyle, store general manager at Morrisons in Droitwich, said: “From today all of our store payment points will be upgraded to accept contactless payments. Many of our customers have a card and are already familiar with the technology.
“Contactless payment is simple and convenient to use. It is another way in which we are trying to make shopping trips faster and easier for Droitwich’s customers.”
