OMBERSLEY residents raised more than £600 for the Alzheimer’s Society over the weekend with a packed family fun day as part of Dementia Awareness Week.
People enjoyed a taster session in singing for the brain, and Antiques Roadshow expert Henry Sandon came along to conduct valuations on items the residents brought along from home.
Ferret racing also proved popular, as well as the range of homemade cakes and teas on offer.
