SIX kind-hearted Droitwich children have raised nearly £200 for St Richard’s Hospice with a cake sale.
Seven-year-old Daniel Rogers, eight-year-olds Ellie Hyde and Erin Moss, 11-year-old Charlotte Garrattley, 13-year-old Carenza Dunn, and 14-year-old Emily Moss, all organized the cake sale in memory of Daniel’s grandmother, who was cared for by the hospice before her death last year.
The youngsters and their parents held the sale on a driveway in Droitwich, raising £184.65 for the hospice.
Alison Parkes, St Richard’s senior community fundraiser, said: “We are really grateful for the support of the young people and their families in baking and selling the cakes to raise money towards our care. I know they also wanted to say a big thank you to the local residents who gave them such generous support.”
