POLICE in Stoke Prior are appealing for information after thieves stole a large amount of fuel from a property, making their getaway using two stolen wheelbarrows.
The incident occurred at approximately 2am in the morning of Saturday, July 25 at a property on Shaw Lane in Stoke Prior.
The offenders entered a yard, and siphoned a large amount of diesel fuel out of two vehicles parked there.
The fuel taken from each vehicle is estimated to be worth approximately £150.
The thieves then filled up multiple five gallon drums with the diesel, and stole two wheelbarrows from the property, which are thought to have been used to carry the containers away.
Anyone who thinks they may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area, or who has been offered diesel fuel for sale, is asked to contact West Mercia Police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident number 0164S250715, or alternatively they can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
