STAFF and students from Dodderhill School near Droitwich were raising money recently with their own Macmillan Coffee Morning.
Year 11 pupils led by head girls Alex Scott and Jessica Tapson, organised the event, with musical entertainment from the school’s music captains Olivia Meeks and Olivia Withey.
Children from all of the school’s year groups came together to enjoy hot drinks cakes, music, and a raffle, with prizes donated from local Droitwich businesses including Tagwells Tea Toom, raising an impressive £1,000 for Macmillan.
Headteacher Cate Mawston, said: “The whole school had a lovely morning coming together to raise funds for this fantastic cause. We’re really pleased with the total raised; it’s a fantastic amount and for such a worthy cause. Well done to everyone involved.”
