TWO Droitwich women are organising their own Halloween party to raise money for Cancer Research.
Gemma Knight and Helen Troth are holding their fancy dress party at Droitwich British Legion on Saturday , October 31 with a prize for the best dressed adult and child, and a raffle with prizes donated from local businesses, as well as a Virgin experience in a super car, a spa day, meals in local restaurants, and beauty treatments.
Helen said: “The charity is extremely close to my heart as my dad has now beaten the disease twice and this is down to the vital research funded by donations to the worthy charity."
Tickets to the party, which is running from 6.30pm to midnight, are £10 for adults and £5 for children, which includes food. Anyone is welcome to attend, dressed up in their spooky best.
People who can’t attend the party, but would still like to help with the fundraising efforts, can donate at justgiving.com/charityhalloween.
