PEOPLE aged over 55-years-old in Droitwich and Evesham are invited to sessions providing information about the activities available in the area.
Wychavon District Council is inviting people over the age of 55 to come along to one of two events taking place in October, to find out how they can live their life well.
The Wychavon Ageing Well events are being held from 10am to 1pm at Droitwich Spa Community Hall on October 1, and at Evesham Town Hall between 2pm and 5pm on October 8.
Lots of organisations run services for the age group including Age UK, Act on Energy, Healthwatch and Wychavon Leisure, and many more.
Jenny Davis, arts development officer at Wychavon District Council, said: “As well as information stands there will be a series of free taster sessions in sport and arts provided by local cultural groups that people can get involved with.
"These include tai chi, singing, bowls, golf, drumming, photography, arts and crafts and more.
"So if anyone aged 55 or over fancies having a go at something new or speaking with one of the exhibiting organisations, then here’s the chance to come along, ask questions and find out exactly what’s out there.”
