AN aspiring Royal Marines candidate is set to achieve his dreams with the help of a Worcestershire College.
Josh Howdle, who jumped ship from a different college to Heart of Worcestershire College, has since gone onto win student of the year since enrolling at the college's Public Service course.
He said: "I really want to pursue a career in the Royal Marines, thankfully the college accepted my application after then course had begun and it’s really helped me to progress my views and knowledge on the public services.
"I’m looking forward to my second year here and continuing with the physical aspects of the course as the Marines is a physically demanding career."
His mother Suze Howdle says that since making the switch his confidence and knowledge of the subject has improved, and she is very proud of him.
