THE leader of the Liberal Democrat party is heading to Worcestershire.
Nick Clegg is set to arrive at the Nag’s Head pub in Bank Street, Malvern, on Saturday and show his support for the party’s West Worcestershire candidate Richard Burt.
During his visit Mr Clegg is expected to make a short speech on rural issues and policies and take questions from members of the public.
A spokesman said: “West Worcestershire is one of our target seats that we want to win which is why Nick Clegg is coming.”
Anyone interested in hearing what Mr Clegg has to say or would like the opportunity to try and ask a question is welcome to attend the Nag’s Head in time for his estimated arrival at 4.30pm.
Harriett Baldwin (Conservative), Penny Barber (Labour), Caroline Bovey (UKIP), and Malcolm Victory (Green Party) are also in the running for the West Worcestershire seat.
