A SERVICE that provides care for people in their own homes has been rated “good” by the Care Quality Commission.

Crossroads Caring for Carers, of Weir Lane, Lower Wick, Worcester, was praised by the regulator for ensuring “people were kept safe by trained staff who knew how to protect them”.

Inspectors were complementary of the company’s “respectful” and “caring” staff who “maintained people’s dignity when providing assistance and respected their privacy”.

The service was also described as “well-led” and “responsive towards people’s health needs”.

Care Quality Commission inspectors visited the service on July 29 and August 6 and a report was published on Monday (January 19).
