My house and surroundings, by Sam Whitton

2:21pm Thursday 31st January 2008

I live in the countryside on the edge of the town. I can see the Malvern Hills from my and garden and they look humungous from here. When I look out of my window I can see an apple tree with yummy, ripe apples and I can see a barn full of itchy hay. Sometimes I can see female pheasants and male pheasants. There is a fat, greedy pigeon on the lawn and a naughty squirrel eating nuts in the tree. I can hear cows mooing in the early morning and the late afternoon. I can hear a variety of birds singing magnificent music.

I can smell steaming cow dung from my garden and I can smell the lovely flowers out of my window. I like my house because it is old and wonderful and my garden because it is lovely and big.

Sometimes I can see my neighbour in his garden and Roger who comes to feed the hungry horses.
