What with all the pressure from those that "say" we must get our kids into fitness it is really quite a challenge to us parents to encourage the little darlings off the sofa and from in front of the play station to actually go out and do as we were encouraged to - "do something less boring instead!"
A revival of competitive sport in schools is currently being undertaken in our schools in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. In light of Gordon Brown's announcement at the recent Sports Colleges Conference, Mr Brown stated that competition is the spice of life and it finds it purest expression in sport'. He also announced a new National Schools Sports Week which is due to roll out on June 30th 2008.
On Sataurday the 17th of November we went to a rugby match to watch Worcester Warriors vs Montauban. It was a great match. There was a great try scored by Thinus Delport. This is how he did it.
