SIR – I read with interest the “rant” on hunting by Carole Roberts (letters, January 7) in which she graphically describes the screams of women during a hunt in the Ledbury area last November.
She describes the protesters as “brave and good people”.
I think not, “stupid and misguided” would be a better description. Still, as long as there are people like Ms Roberts and Mr Green willing to waste their time and, moreover, give their money to the RSPCA so they can waste it on court cases, then please carry on.
Everyone knows that this government won’t have a free vote on repeal of the Hunting Act because they know they would lose. I think that says all that needs to be said about hunting.
