SIR - How wrong the huntsmen are about public opinion.
The large turnout of spectators on Boxing Day was made up of people wanting to see the dying days of a cruel part of this country's past.
Just as I am sure there was lots of people gathered to see the last bull bailing event that happened on the Bull Ring in St John's, many years ago.
If people all those years ago realised that the cruelty which accompanies these things had to be stopped, you would think our more enlightend age would stop trying to take us backward to a more sadistic time.
