Sir - What a relief, at last an attempt to keep the traffic flowing, remodelling the Ketch roundabout and putting in a stretch of dual carriageway. This begs the question,Why was the Southern Link not built as dual carriageway from the start? The first part of the orbital road was built back in the late 50s, the Northern link, this was dual carriageway.
When are the council going to finish this project running from the Bromyard Road roundabout to the Ombersley Road via Broadheath & Hallow, land for this was purchased by the council in the 50s.Surely those making such a stupid decision should, if still working, lose their jobs, or if retired lose part/all of their huge council pensions. It is costing the tax payer £38 million after all.
With all the building at Dines Green, Crown east, and Martley Turn, where do the council think the traffic will go.
