Sir - Earlier this month an £80,000 prize was won by a young Cambridge graduate for his essay on how the UK could leave the EU. Given he holds the post of Director of Trade and Investment in one of the overseas branches of his employer one would have expected that his employer which had given him permission to enter the competition would be delighted but , unfortunately for him, his employer is the Lib/Con Government and he works in one of their overseas Embassies .
The Government was dismayed and flabbergasted when he won .The Conservative part doesn't want a debate on the subject and the Lib Dem part doesnt want to leave so the poor chap has now been told never to speak to the media and never open his mouth again.
So much for an intelligent discussion on the EU , it is clear only UKIP want this whilst the other Parties want to bury their heads in the sand and say nothing.
