SIR - Re Peter Luff's column, July 3 'I hope Scots vote No - for all our sakes', is another nice bit of prose from Central Office no doubt!
Would Mr Luff care to explain why we English haven't been given the opportunity to vote for independence from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland?
Would he like to explain why we English do not have our own separate English Parliament? And would he like to explain why everybody and his dog has a vote on English affairs, whereas we English have no right whatsoever in the national parliaments of other nation states within the UK.
It seems to me that natural justice demands we English be given our own voice within the Uk via our own national parliament!
