SIR - Two friends of mine both well into their eighties spent 45 minutes looking for a disabled car parking space when they went down town last week.
Instead of rows of empty taxis waiting in the middle of town would it not be possible to have a few more disabled spaces?
When you are in your eighties and find it very difficult to walk the closer you can get to the shops the better.
