SIR - It is very sad that 54,405 men and women over 60 in Worcestershire feel lonely.
I am 77. I used to sometimes feel lonely till recently, but I now live in Rowan Court and am surrounded by people, male and female, young and old.
Often I am glad to lock my flat door and simply be quiet.
