Sir, I have to reply to the comments by Conservative Councillor Marc Bayliss on Volunteers many of whom give 20, 30 , or even more hours per week and who have been rewarded by Councillor Bayliss and the Tories by cutting the very small operational funding they had by between 60% and 80%, meaning that not only are they expected to continue volunteering for free, but are also using money from their own pockets / purses to enable them to do so.
If this is in answer to David Cameron’s Call that we are all in this together, it seems that those who are the disadvantaged, disabled and elderly, are in it more than Marc Bayliss and the Tories acknowledge, or admit.
However Marc Bayliss is really quoting the Tory policy towards our Disabled, and vulnerable Elderly.
I hope they are judged come election time.
Vice Chair Worcestershire Pensioners Action Group.
