Sir - Reading letters submitted to the Worcester News, It seems that the concern for a lot of the businesses in the city centre of Worcester are that more out of town developments will mean less footfall in the city.
I agree with their concerns you only have to look at the amount of empty shops in the city.
Failure to let out the two biggest outlets in St Martins Gate will only confirm this.
It seems like the BID and the city council are pulling in the opposite directions.
Let's not let our city centre die like others have. Better to have John Lewis in the city centre than on the outskirts.
People do not like paying to park their cars, they of course will prefer to park free out of town. So come on council, let's have some free parking.
